The best account about getting a cancer diagnosis I've ever read. Am I surprised it's so darkly humorous? Not a bit. Delighted it's gone and look forward to more of your tales of getting older gracefully. (You were younger *dis*gracefully)

Hello, Liz - nice to hear from you. How's things - hope you're doing OK. All is well here - finally. I've had me all clear, they really did move amazingly quickly. Glad you liked it, it was a strange thing to write, but kind of fun, although I found myself baulking here and there and some of the more feral intimacies. How about you - how's those legs, m'dear? Hope you're doing well.

What a read!

Not a pain in the bum, after all. Who knew?

Waiting impatiently for part 2.

Geez, Louise, that's some adventure, Melvin! I've had that scope, it's not fun. Have you seen the Billy Connolly sketch about the prep experience? He's bang on!

Wow, Melvin! A thoroughly good, read. Thanks for sharing your experience of getting diagnosed with bowel cancer with such humour. Everyone should read this…
